I read with great interest the articles on Brighton's Walk of Fame, especially when I saw Jack Howe (Uncle Jack) had been nominated.
I sent a copy of The Argus with this news to his widow, Edna, who has lived in New Zealand since Jack died, as have their two daughters.
I see Jack has not only been chosen but has also been given a special award. He was indeed a local hero, working so hard in his spare time to entertain the children and was very good at it.
