On reading Mike Howard's review of the Russell Watson concert, I am pleased to say it mirrored my feelings exactly.
I thought I was the only one who felt this way. Having been offered the ticket by my brother (who, unfortunately for me, had to work), I went with an open mind and was really looking forward to it.
I, too, was amazed at the audience's reaction at the end of every song and was surprised Russell interrupted several to thank the sad souls who felt it necessary to bombard him with gifts.
Everything Mike highlighted about this performance was so true.
We were unable to get hold of a programme until the interval.
We cheerfully handed over £10 to the seller but were flabbergasted to receive only £3 change (and for what? - a couple of pages of trivia).
Keep up the good work.
