I was interested to see the old photo of Church Road, Hove, which included the words "Yes, yes" on the large advertising boards (The Argus Weekend, June 1).
Although 1899 was two years before the formation of the Albion, perhaps someone knew "Yes, yes" would be one of the slogans used by community stadium supporters in the referendum 100 years later.
In another 100 years, today's councillors in Brighton and Hove will be remembered for the way they vote on June 12.
I am sure they will not let us down and the city will finally get the stunning stadium it so badly needs.
