A record number of visitors flocked to Wakehurst Place in the past year, figures released today show.
The attraction near Ardingly has had its most successful year since records began.
More than 319,000 people visited the garden and Millennium Seedbank, up 17 per cent on last year.
The attraction and Kew Gardens in Surrey had a combined total of 1.3 million visits, the best figure since 1990-1.
