John Parry (June 7) is quite right when he quotes the French interior minister saying that refugees at the Sangatte camp would not be such a problem if we in this country did not make it so easy for immigrants to find homes and jobs so they all want to come here.
At the same time, Tony Greenstein and others bemoan the fact that wages are so low in the Brighton and Hove area. Don't they ever make the connection?
