Four Sussex Police officers have been honoured for helping smash one of the world's largest paedophile rings.
Detective Chief Inspector Alex Wood, Detective Sergeant Michael Jones and Detective Constables Bruce Spottiswoode and Andy Mays were commended by the National Crime Squad.
They were rewarded for their role in Operation Cathedral, which investigated members of the Wonderland internet paedophile club.
The two-year inquiry, the first of its kind, resulted in the arrest of more than 100 people worldwide and the seizure of 250,000 images.
It has been the catalyst for legislative changes in the UK and abroad.
