Now that the sun is shining again, Brighton's beaches will be crowded and Churchill Square packed.
Isn't it time Brighton and Hove City Council thought to introduce pay-and-display sunbathing and "controlled walking" in the city centre?
This would surely reduce congestion which, as we all now know, is definitely a "very bad thing". Of course, there should be preferential "residents only" beaches and walking zones where you could wear your £52 permit with pride.
Apparently, there is a firm called National Footpads which will enforce such schemes for you.
What are we waiting for?
