Brighton actor and film maker Ralph Brown will be taking a break from the big screen to compere a fund-raising event for the Women's Refuge Project.
Guests will be treated to a posh fish-and-chip supper, with champagne and oysters, at Roy and Muriel Brown's restaurant, Bardsley's.
The entertainment will have a water theme. The Brighton Beach Boys will sing old Beach Boys songs, baritone David Ashman and tenor Graham Webber will sing a duet from Bizet's Pearl Fishers and Alan Hopkins will sing local fishing songs.
Mr Brown will be joined by fellow Brighton actors Carol Cleveland (ex-Monty Python), Victoria Gould (former EastEnders) and Amanda Ooms (The Forsyte Saga).
Mr Brown says he is delighted to be able to support the Women's Refuge Project, Brighton and South Downs Area.
"This will be a great evening out supporting a very worthwhile cause. I am very happy to support the Red Card Appeal and the work it does for the Women's Refuge.
"Violence against women is Neanderthal behaviour which only cowards resort to and has no place in civilised society."
