A wheelchair-bound man was robbed by two men who threatened him with a knife.
Police said the 28-year-old was stopped and threatened by the robbers in the early hours this morning.
The man, who has not been named, was outside the Amsterdam pub in Marine Parade, Brighton, when he was approached by the men at about 1.45am.
They threatened him with a knife, which the victim did not see, and demanded cash. The robbers took money and ran off along Marine Parade.
Detective Sergeant David Wilson, of Brighton and Hove police, said: "This was a despicable robbery of a vulnerable man.
"I urge people with information to contact us or call Crimestoppers in confidence."
The first robber was described as 5ft 6in to 5ft 8ins, stocky, clean shaven with a blond crew cut, receding at the forehead.
He had a Scottish accent and was wearing blue jeans, white trainers and a distinctive green, blue and brown rugby shirt.
The second man had a dark crew cut, also receding at the forehead, stubble on his chin and was 5ft 9in to 6ft.
He was wearing a blue T-shirt, blue jeans and white trainers.
