Friends and family are rallying round 12-year-old Natasha Stapleton after she was diagnosed with terminal cancer.
Doctors say it was a one in a million chance for Natasha, of Eggington Close, Moulsecoomb, to develop the rare form of cancer.
Now everyone is concerned to ensure her remaining days are made as happy as possible.
Natasha has been brave in undergoing frequent tests and regular visits to hospital for treatment.
Friends and staff at Falmer High School are raising cash so she can fulfil as many items on her wish list as possible.
She has already been promised a trip to Disneyland Paris and a day at Brighton Races, where she will meet a jockey.
Sadly, doctors can do nothing to cure her condition but all who know this courageous child will do their best to help her.
