Brighton-based e-learning company Epic Group, has appointed Steve Rayson to its board of directors.
He is currently sales and marketing director, having joined Epic to head up its e-government team.
Prior to joining the firm, he was director of resources at Brighton and Hove City Council and a consultant at KPMG.
The appointment reflects the growing importance of government work to Epic as a result of major project wins such as the development of the web sites for the UK Parliament and the Welsh Development Agency.
Epic has also been awarded e-learning contracts, including the successful Prime Strategic Leadership programme from the Cabinet Office and contracts from the Department for Work and Pensions, the Audit Commission, Customs and Excise, Inland Revenue and UK e-universities worldwide.
