I am a frequent traveller on Brighton and Hove's buses.
On a number of occasions, I have been stunned by the intolerant attitude and, at times, threatening behaviour of members of the travelling public towards foreign students.
Having spent several years working abroad for a British company, I count my blessings that I and colleagues were so well received, even in our stereotypical "Brits abroad" moments.
Many job opportunities have been created through tourism in this city.
It would be foolish to take things for granted - people may not always flock here.
