Although my map of Brighton and Hove is circa 1984, clearly marked are Toad's Hall Valley playing fields, Waterhall playing fields and sports field and, further along the London Road, Braypool sports ground.
Surely any one of these grounds is much more accessible than Falmer?
Straight down the London Road, you are there. Same with the trains. Common sense, really.
