As a traditional watercolour artist, I despair when I read articles such as the one about the so-called work of art, the dead dog on the bed at Pallant House, Chichester (June 25).
As with other such works, they are exhibited by people who haven't a ha'pennyworth of talent who can make a name for themselves only by shocking the viewers.
Ben Langlands and Nikki Bell (it took two of them to produce it) state the work brings dignity to the poor dog.
The only dignity they can show to it would be to give it a decent burial and stop producing such crap in the future.
