The Waterfront Festival takes place on Saturday and Sunday, with a number of free water-based events from Brighton Marina to Hove Lagoon.
Brighton Marina will be offering boat rides, a water polo tournament, racing and children's rides as well as musical entertainment.
Brighton Sailing club will be hosting an open day and regatta, Martlet Kayak Club will have an open day and the Skylark pleasure boat will operate 20-minute rides from outside Brighton Fishing Museum.
Hove Lagoon will host the UKWA Windsurfing Championships on Saturday as well as children's racing and kite-surfing demos near Ocean Sports.
A number of Brighton and Hove-based organisations have been involved with this year's festival, including The Brighton Dive Company, Air Born Kites, Brighton and Hove Petanque Club and Zap Productions.
