The parents of murdered eight-year-old Sarah Payne will join in prayer today for missing teenager Amanda Dowler.
At a special fun day organised to mark the second anniversary of the day Sarah disappeared, her parents Sara and Michael will pray for the safe return of Amanda, known as Milly to her family and friends.
Milly, whose 14th birthday was on Tuesday, has been missing from her home in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, for exactly 100 days.
Sarah Payne's grandfather Brian Williams will lead prayers for Milly and all children in difficulty during the charity fun day in Shoreham.
The event, which will see ten lilac balloons released at noon in Sarah's memory, is being staged by the British Safe House Association.
It will also provide a platform for the release of a new song written to warn of the dangers posed by paedophiles, and to back the call for Sarah's Law.
For months Sara and Michael Payne have been urging Home Secretary David Blunkett to give the public access to the national sex offenders register.
Mark Scott, who composed the song called Sarah's World, said: "The song is a great chance to get this very important message across."
Sarah, from Hersham, Surrey, disappeared on July 1 2000 while playing with her brothers and sister in a field near her grandparents' home in Kingston Gorse, East Preston.
Last year convicted paedophile Roy Whiting, 43, was jailed for life for abducting and murdering the youngster.
Trisha Porter, founder of the British Safe House Association which aims to build a network of shelters for threatened children, said: "The fun day is really to raise awareness of the Association. We need to protect our children and setting up safe houses is one way we can do it."
TV presenter Chris Tarrant was expected to attend the fun day to help launch the balloons following prayers shortly before midday.
