I was sorry to find that eccentric, rickety-rackety and cavernous maze of a second-hand bookshop in Queen's Road, Brighton, had closed.
I once found a biography I had been looking for, on and off, for some 30 years. It was always an experience to search the heaps and shelves and then seek the way out. I shall miss it.
