IT was with some amusement I discovered that the local Tories want to get rid of "eyesores" on Brighton and Hove seafront.
Could these be the same Tories who gave us such architectural seafront delights as Brighton Marina, the Kingswest and the charming Brighton Centre? Or maybe they are the Tories who, for years, let Portland Gate fall apart in the centre of Hove?
If anyone can enlighten me, I would be most grateful.
