Fred Richardson must have thought there was a ghost in the machine when he spotted his beloved former car on the road.
The pensioner believed the Mini he bought in 1994 was dead and buried after it was written off in a crash on Christmas Eve.
But as he waited for a bus, the Mini Cooper rolled past in full working order, with the same number plate and a new owner at the wheel.
Seems there is such a thing as reinCARnation after all.
