Instances of UK air traffic controllers reporting excessive workloads have more than doubled, a leaked report says.
In the first six months of 2002, 44 incidents where controllers felt workload compromised safety were filed, Computer Weekly reports.
The National Air Traffic Services report said it compared to 20 incidents in the same period of 2001. There were 189,401 minutes of delays in the week ending June 30.
