Hedgehogs are to be banished from the Outer Hebrides because they are eating the eggs of rare seabirds.
But rather than see them culled, Sussex animal lovers are calling for them to be released in this county.
They should think twice before thousands are set free in the countryside.
They may look sweet but as the Scottish birds discovered, hedgehogs can be prickly customers.
