The genius here is composer Ludwig van Beethoven and actor Oatrick Lannigan shows us the overwhelming talent of the Romantic period in all its glory.
Using letters, diaries and other researches, Lannigan takes us through the composer's turbulent life and times, showing the increasing frustrations caused by his growing deafness.
And to illustrate the musical genius, the Locrian Ensemble will play several of the composer's works, including Fur Elise, the Ode To Joy and the Scottish Folk Songs.
The Locrian Ensemble is probably best known for its recent collaboration with Madonna and its contribution to the film score of Harry Potter.
