Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was injured in a hit-and-run incident in Hove.
The victim was treated for leg and stomach injuries after the crash near the junction of Sackville Road and Cromwell Road, Hove, just after 11pm last night.
Ten minutes later, police and fire crews were called to a Vauxhall Cavalier on fire in Tivoli Crescent, Brighton.
It is thought the car had been stolen earlier from the Hollingbury area and the incidents could be connected.
Inspector Mark Powles said: "We are investigating a possible link between the hit and run and the car fire.
"We would like to hear from anyone who can tell us about the car's movements between Hove and Tivoli Crescent."
