Congratulations to Martin Hinshelwood who will be a popular choice as the new manager of Brighton and Hove Albion.
Many big names have been linked with the job of running the Division One side ever since Peter Taylor left soon after the championship triumph.
But the board has wisely decided that Hinshelwood's reputation as director of youth speaks for itself.
With the experienced and able Bob Booker as his deputy, he has every chance of building on the tremendous success of the last two seasons.
All Albion need now are decisive steps toward moving into the community stadium at Falmer and their success should be assured.
