I am very angry at the way Saturday's successful event has been attacked.

Yes, there were a few more incidents compared to last year but there were a few more people than last year.

I am sure if the number that turned up had been expected, extra provisions could have been made, including enough trains and buses to get people home.

Yes, it is a pity any incidents occurred but I am sure many of those reported were accidents which, like most accidents, could not have been avoided.

Local businesses have gained through this event and it has not cost Brighton and Hove City Council anywhere near the amount that could be classed as reasonable for an event of this size, thanks mainly to Norman Cook.

Never again? I can't wait until next year.
