An ecological disaster, right here, right now. That sums up last Saturday's event.
Alas, some of us cannot be trusted to be respectful of our environment. Properly enforced health and safety measures should take place.
My heart sank when I walked on Brighton beach on Monday evening.
I do not think we can wait for wrangles about who has to pay for the cleaning-up operations. Brighton and Hove City Council, the Government and volunteers should form an "ant-army" of cleaners-up, just like after an oil disaster.
Please let me know what you think. I am ready to get my bag. My work number is 01273 524028.
