I don't see why council staff are sniggering at the mayor's Skoda.
In my opinion, they now stand second to none for style and engineering.
We have two Skodas in my family. One has never been serviced in five years and has travelled all over England and never let my daughter down.
We sold it for another, a Favorit. Mine came from the same garage as the mayor's. As they say, don't knock it till you've tried it.
