I quite agree with Dora Daniel (Letters, July 13) about the good things of the Royal Sussex County Hospital but it is sadly lacking in communications.
Months ago, my doctor arranged for me to see an orthopaedic surgeon on July 12.
I reported to reception and gave in the letter. The chap looked at me and said, "There is no appointment here for you today, it's on the 26th".
I asked why I had not been told it had been cancelled. No reply, no apology. It was hard for me to get there as I could hardly walk.
