Does West Sussex County Council really believe it is in the best interests of the children of Three Bridges Primary School to close it down?
Of course not. Does it really believe the pupils of Three Bridges Middle School would be best served by taking away a large chunk of the playing fields? Of course not.
Does it really believe it is a good idea to mix five-year-old little ones with 11-year-olds in one school? I hope not.
Does it care that this move would put the little ones on a busy road with constant traffic and in full view of any pervert that might be passing by? Obviously not.
What the council believes is that the best interests for itself would be to sell off the land from the Three Bridges Primary School and build yet more homes on that land at a fat profit.
Its stance is morally wrong. When will we ever learn?
