I would like to thank Brighton for allowing such a magnificent event to be held on such a wonderful day. I have not witnessed anything like it before and doubt if anyone will again.
While the city is paying for it by the massive clean-up, I am sure, as I type here back home in Perth, that it will undoubtedly put your part of the world on the map for many thousands of people around the world, who will have heard so many great stories about the event from the people who were lucky enough to be there on the day.
The only let-down was the lack of trains running in the early hours of the morning.
However, I, along with probably the majority of people, were unaware we were only just a few of the 250,000 that were there. Fatboy Slim certainly made me feel like I was in Heaven.
