Since 1997, my council tax has increased by 52 per cent or 10.46 per cent a year.
During the same period, my pension has risen 11.9 per cent or 2.37 per cent a year.
I made one of my rare visits into the centre of Brighton the other day and was utterly disgusted by the state of the place.
If I was a visitor, I would be ashamed to take anyone there.
Now, a 14 per cent rise is rumoured for next April.
Has this administration any idea about living within its means? Clearly not. It just carries on, irresponsibly spending other people's money.
It's totally immoral.
