Housemates Stewart Holmes and Jay Lovett will go head to head when Crawley Town take on Brentford at Broadfield Stadium tonight.
Holmes, who plays for Crawley, will be up against former team-mate Lovett, who is now a member of the Bees' first team squad.
The pair live together in Edburton Gardens, Shoreham, and both will be wanting to make an impression.
Holmes was one of 23 players tried out by Crawley against Albion last Saturday. Manager Billy Smith missed that game as he was on holiday but he returns tonight when it is expected the squad will be trimmed to 18.
Lovett, meanwhile, will be looking to impress new Brentford manager Wally Downes, who brings down a full strength squad for a game which kicks off at 7.45.
Crawley will have a second look at Marlon Patterson, a teenage midfielder who was with Fisher last season after being released by Millwall. He was the pick of the new faces for the Reds on Saturday.
Tonight's pre-season friendlies: Crawley v Brentford (7.45), Chichester v Lancing (at Oaklands Park), Crawley Down v Ifield (at Ardingly College), Crowborough v Westfield (7.45), Hassocks v Mile Oak (7.00), Hastings United v Eastbourne Town, Horsham v Horsham YMCA, Pagham v Worthing (7.30), Redhill v Sutton United (8.00), Seaford v Lewes (6.15), Shoreham v Whitehawk, Three Bridges v Dulwich Hamlet, Wick v Bashley, Withdean 2000 v Hailsham Town.
