I'm not as stupid as I was made to feel, then. Twice, recently, I have seen mention of the kiss of life to animals.
Back in 1983, I gave the kiss of life to my hamster. Unfortunately, he died. His name was Ruskin - yes, you're right, I named him after Ruskin the airline on TV.
I saw Keno the collie is seeking a new home (The Argus, July 20). Unfortunately, due to my circumstances, I could not give him a home although, if I found a helper, I may in future consider a way forward with a guide dog.
Keno saved himself with a slobbery kiss. How close to human beings saving themselves - sometimes that is all they can do. How lucky, Keno, Janet McNalley from Pet Rescue is trying to find you a home.
Do you remember that dog on TV? An artificial leg on wheels was made for him. I wonder if you will have one, Keno?
