A 12-year-old girl with terminal cancer has become too ill to go on a dream holiday paid for by an anonymous donor.
Natasha Stapleton's family have decided to postpone the trip, hoping she will be well enough at a later date.
Celebrities including Jordan, Dwight Yorke and boxer Chris Eubank are among supporters of a campaign to raise money for Natasha, who was diagnosed in May with an adult form of carcoma cancer in her mouth, lymph glands and liver.
Natasha, of Eggington Close, Moulsecoomb, Brighton, was due to go on her first ever holiday at the beginning of last week to Disneyland Paris.
However, chemotherapy treatment has left her too poorly to manage the journey, so the trip has been put back.
Eileen Rye, a close family friend, said: "Natasha was very ill.
"She went down to four and a half stone. She is feeling a bit better this week and has put back on some weight.
"The chemo has now been stopped as it seemed to be feeding the cancer but they are continuing with radiotherapy."
A fund was set up to raise money for Natasha, a pupil at Falmer High School in Brighton, to allow her to fulfil her dreams and so far more than £18,000 has been collected.
Some of the money has already been spent on treating Natasha to a freshly-decorated bedroom complete with new furniture, a stereo and PlayStation.
She hopes to go on a series of day trips to places like Chessington and Beaulieu, planned for the summer with her family.
A party is being held at Moulsecoomb Leisure Centre, Moulsecoomb Way, on Saturday, August 10, from 5.15pm to 9pm, to celebrate Natasha's 13th birthday.
Mrs Rye said: "Everyone is invited. There will be karaoke, face painting, a magician, food and loads of things.
"We want it to be a fun day for the community and everyone Natasha knows.
"The leisure centre has donated the use of their hall for free."
It is hoped Natasha will be well enough to enjoy the holiday to Disneyland Paris shortly after the party.
