Environmental campaigners are showing they are people of action as well as words in Brighton and Hove.
They are building an earthship on land behind Stanmer House in Stanmer Park north of Brighton.
Built partly of old tyres and powered by solar energy, it will be an example of what many buildings could be like in the future.
It's easy to ridicule people who want to save the planet because there seems to be no immediate threat to it.
But the increasing incidence of floods, droughts and storms in the world could be a sign that global warming is starting to have an adverse effect.
Most people will not want to go as far as the earthship campaigners but the new building should give them ideas about how they can protect the environment too.
