Brighton Bears are giving fans a month to book season tickets at existing rates after increasing their admission prices for the new campaign.

The BBL high flyers have upped match night admission from £8 to £10 with juniors now paying £6 and a family ticket costing £25. Fans can book season tickets throughout August, costing £130 (adults), £80 (juniors) and £325 (families) for the home campaign, which will comprise at least 22 games.

Bears general manager Nick Nurse said the increase was in line with other teams in the league and added: "I am certain our fans will get more for their money than they do at other clubs.

"We are looking to make our match nights a complete NBA-style experience and, even if we did not last year, we feel we will offer the best off-court set-up on match nights in this league."

Season tickets can be booked at brightonbears.com or by calling (01273) 626943.

Bears are likely to be at home on the first two Saturday nights of the season, which starts on October 5, and hope to line-up a home pre-season friendly to go alongside the Birmingham tournament next month.

Skipper Randy Duck jets back into England tomorrow from his title-winning summer with Oklahoma in the USBL and will be among the coaching staff at Bears' summer camp next week.
