Albion have introduced a postal balloting system to cope with the feverish demand for matches at Withdean.
Only 395 tickets go on general sale due to the limited capacity.
Phonelines were inundated last season and tempers flared when fans queued outside the club offices in Brighton for the chance to see their heroes in action.
Spokeswoman Sally Townsend said: "We don't want people fighting over them like they were last year, so we decided the fairest way is to have a postal ballot."

The Seagulls are inviting applications for fixtures next month against Gillingham and Stoke in Division One and Exeter in the Worthington Cup.
A handful of tickets have been returned for next Saturday's game with Norwich City. Applications should be sent to the ticket office at 5 Queens Road, Brighton, BN1 3WA.
