I would like to put the record straight with regard to the residents of Hangleton.

The vast majority welcome young people learning to drive with their patient, dedicated instructors and examiners, who are doing a magnificent job.

As with the Brighton stadium objectors, these protesters are a small bunch of selfish Nimbys who have nothing better to do with their time than twitch their net curtains and count the number of driving-school cars passing.
