Thousands of people flocked to the coast for the second day of one of the UK's biggest free airshows.
Organisers estimated more than 200,000 people filled the beaches and Western Lawns along Eastbourne seafront yesterday for a day packed with thrilling displays in the sky and on the ground.
Highlights included flypasts from the RAF Falcons, a Hercules and the Red Arrows and a simulated rescue involving a Chinook helicopter.
The RAF police volunteer dog display team also impressed the crowds with their displays of control.
Ron Cussons, director of tourism and leisure for Eastbourne Borough Council, estimated 750,000 people would have visited Eastbourne before the event's Sunday finish, filling hotels and boosting the town's economy.
