We think intense confusion will be caused by the opening of the new me! store in Queen's Road, Brighton.
Colin Barton, chairman of Sussex ME/CFS Society, has every right to feel aggrieved (The Argus, August 19).
The society, the largest local myalgic encephalopathy (ME) group in the country - with 800 members in need of impartial information and support as they seek to adjust to their illness - is opening its own office in nearby Church Road, Hove, after securing £125,000 worth of development funding from the National Lottery.
So that will be the second set of business premises in the area which will have "me" above its door.
Only one will be dedicated exclusively to working for people with ME/CFS but the good people of Brighton and Hove will have difficulty working out which.
Like the complementary therapy shop, the national ME Association also uses lower-case initials "me" in its logo, which has been trade-marked too.
So there is infinite scope for yet more confusion. Thanks a bundle, the me! shop. Life in the charity sector was never easy. You have made it just that little bit more complicated.
