With regard to Brighton and Hove City Council's plans for the redevelopment of the King Alfred centre, I do not in any way, shape or form give credit to the council's claims it has 80 per cent support for such a large development of mixed accommodation.
The parking farce alone would cause most people to object. The plans allow for one space for every two flats, so I am told. Hmm, very bright.
The council must be planning a new marina so the residents can get around by boat.
In view of the large petition against the plans submitted, may I suggest the council proves its case by publishing a petition with the names and postcodes of those for, whom I have yet to find one of - the elusive bunch.
