Brighton firm Orangeburst was awarded the best new product prize for it's innovative pill splitter and crusher at The Natural Trade Show.
The product has attracted a lot of interest since it was introduced to the market in June and not just from the natural products industry, the veterinary trade has taken it up too.
The company was founded in 1998 by Jacqui and Michael Stewart on the strength of one product, a nutritional wall chart designed by local artist and nutritionist Liz Cook.
The company has grown and now supplies more than 300 shops as well as its thriving mail order and internet business.
Jacqui said: "We source unique product ranges from the UK and the US that are chemical free and ethically produced."
