Nathan Jones made his comeback after a month out with a knee ligament strain in a 4-2 defeat for the reserves against Crystal Palace at Carshalton last night.
Jones played the whole 90 minutes at left-back and could now be in contention for a place on the bench against Wimbledon.
Club captain Paul Rogers, who missed last Saturday's defeat by Norwich with a stomach bug, also lasted the 90 minutes.
The Seagulls trailed 3-1 at the break, despite a goal from Chris McPhee. The outstanding Daniel Marney pulled another goal back in the second half.
Albion's match at Milwall on September 7 is all ticket for Seagulls supporters, with an allocation of 4,000 for members of the away supporters scheme.
Albion Reserves: Petterson; A. Hinshelwood, Virgo, Hammond, Jones, Harding, Rogers, Pitcher, Lee, McPhee and Marney. Subs. Beck (for Lee), Packham, Bartholomew, Greatwich, El-Abd.
