Scores of bikini-clad girls and hunky men proved a tonic for bleary-eyed motorists this morning.
Sixty perfect specimens stood at strategic roadside locations in Brighton, Hove and Shoreham to promote radio station Juice 107.2.
But the stunt backfired as traffic was brought to a standstill and some of the 50 girls and ten guys were moved on by police.
James Walshe, from the station's newsdesk, said: "Unfortunately, we were causing a few roads to be blocked. We also caused a few heated arguments between couples and cars.
"We're getting a few reports of a squad car going round and trying to move on some of our people on."
Station boss David Harber added: "We would like to apologise for the traffic problems. But I'm sure most motorists won't object to a few scantily-clad lads and lasses."
A spokeswoman for Sussex Police said: "Anybody who causes an obstruction or distraction to motorists is perhaps not thinking of the consequences."
