Lewes grabbed a 90th-minute winner to sink Bromley at the Dripping Pan.

Bromley probably deserved a draw but fell to the late sucker- punch when the best move of the game saw Danny Davis produce a right-wing cross from which substitute Germaine Amanuel fired past keeper Chuck Martini.

Defences dominated the first half and the closest Lewes came to scoring was a well worked free kick involving Jon Palmer and Graham Harper which was cleared to safety.

In the second half Palmer forced an excellent full length save from Martini.

The win secured Lewes their tenth point out of a possible 12 since their promotion to Division One.

Horsham recorded their third straight win with a hard-fought 1-0 victory at Molesey.

In a game of few chances, Horsham were constantly caught off-side in the first half although James Grant struck the keeper's legs after going through from Gavin Geddes' 28th-minute pass.

The only goal of the game came two minutes before the break when David Flemming collected a long ball out of defence and lifted it over advancing goalkeeper Julian Dale.

Banstead keeper James Wastell did his best to deny Bognor but his resistance finally ended late in the game as David Birmingham struck to ensure all three points for the Rocks with a 1-0 away victory.

Mickey Nolan should have opened the scoring for the hosts from Garry Whelan's cross but fired wide of an open goal.

Just before the break David Birmingham almost gave Bognor the lead but Wastell managed to tip away his long range free kick.

Richard Hudson rifled over the top when well placed in the second half while Matt Edwards headed another chance wide.

Wastell was the saviour for the home side again when he managed to deny Jamie Howell but his resistance was finally broken in the 86th minute.

From a Bognor free kick outside of the box, Jamie Howell set up David Birmingham to fire an unstoppable shot into the far corner of the net.

Worthing suffered an even worse start than Albion yesterday as they lost 3-1 at home to early season leaders Epsom & Ewell.

Rebels were two down inside two minutes after visiting striker Garry Stevens made a stunning impact.

Stevens' intended cross swirled in for the opener after just 36 seconds and he then set up Simon Huckle for a shot to which Matthew May got both hands but could not keep out.

There was no lack of effort from Worthing, with Paul Kennett and Gavin Jones both heading wide before Mark Knee pulled one back on 62 minutes as he beat defender Tim Smith to Ben Carrington's through ball.

Epsom's response to that minor setback was impressive and they sent Stevens clear to chip his second goal on 74 minutes.

A frantic late flurry by Worthing saw substitute Josh Biggs head over and Dave Hyatt save brilliantly from Kennett's drive but the visitors always looked to have the greater quality.
