Grandmother Clare Cottington has proved that at 77, you're never too old to diet.
Clare, from Portslade, weighed 17st before she joined a Weight Watchers class last year.
Now she has lost more than 5st and feels much better for it.
She had always previously ignored advice to lose weight despite having experienced heart trouble.
She used to think nothing of scoffing five Mars bars before breakfast but now sticks to fruit and veg.
But Clare hasn't forsaken all her old pleasures and still likes a drink.
Thanks to her great efforts, she should live a fuller and longer life.
Now which lucky millionaire is going to take up her offer?
