Blushing bride-to-be Ann Thompson ditched the horse and carriage in favour of an even more unusual way to get to the church on time - the number 60 bus.
Passengers looked on in amazement as Miss Thompson flagged down the bus in Chichester dressed in a bridal gown and clutching a bouquet.
They were even more surprised when she was followed by four bridesmaids.
Miss Thompson, a former teacher, chose the bus for her wedding to husband-to-be Bob Saville because she loved the route so much.
She regularly takes the 60 from the stop at The Drive. On Saturday the driver ensured she made it to the church service at nearby Singleton on time.
Stagecoach decorated the vehicle with a white ribbon for the trip.
