Specialist heating firm Boustead International has won a multi-million pound contract with an oil company in Brazil.
The Southwick-based company made contact with Petrobras, the state-owned oil company of Brazil, while on a trade mission sponsored by Trade Partners UK.
The project involves the refurbishment of five crude oil heaters in a refinery in Sao Paulo.
Boustead International forged strong business links after commissioning a number of tailored market information reports from Government-backed Trade Partners on Brazil, Peru, Chile and Ecuador.
Managing director David Miller said: "The trade mission was very productive. Although we had researched the market ourselves, going on the mission really helped us to evaluate it and understand its expectations."
