Travel experts Laurie Tilley and Richard Strange have pooled their experience in the holiday trade to start a new business.
Holiday Travel Essentials approaches package holidays in the United States from a new angle, allowing customers to pick-and-mix the components of their holiday.
Mr Tilley said as travellers became more confident abroad, they wanted to make more decisions for themselves.
He said: "Sunshine and climate are the two principle reasons for a person's choice of holiday destination but entertainment is invariably the third most important element of the overall experience."
The new company was started with the objective of supplying add-on components of holiday travel, including airport hotels and parking, low-cost car hire, travel insurance, accommodation, vacation homes with pools, attraction tickets, sightseeing and soft adventure tours.
Mr Tilley and Mr Strange believe customers want these extras and their company is in a position to organise them before departure.
Mr Tilley said: "By using our services, travellers can pre-budget as all the charges are up front and in advance of their departure.
"What and how long you choose to spend time doing something abroad can be scheduled into your holiday time, none of which will be wasted.
"For the major theme parks and attractions you get an admission ticket.
So there is no queuing for tickets or voucher exchange."
The company is handling attraction and sightseeing arrangements in Florida, Las Vegas, California, New York and Arizona.
Within a year, it expects to add South Africa, Australia and destinations in the Far East.
Mr Tilley said: "We are in a position to offer a unique pre-arrival product which isn't available to others arriving at our customers'
destinations."
Mr Tilley has worked in the travel industry for 19 years. From 1994, he was an account manager with Walt Disney Attractions.
Mr Strange was previously head of United States product with Virgin Holidays and general manager of US product with First Choice.
