Miracle dog Honey has amazed vets by surviving a 150ft fall down sheer cliffs.
The 12-year-old boxer escaped with just a few cuts and bruises after landing on the rocky beach below.
Horrified owner Sharon Forster borrowed a mobile phone from a couple walking on the cliffs at Holywell, near Eastbourne, to raise the alarm.
A couple strolling on the beach looked after the shocked pup until Coastguards arrived.
Honey was whisked off to a vet where she was kept in overnight for observation but she was expected to go home today.
Mrs Forster said: "I've taken her walking up there many times and I'd just let her off the lead so she could have a run.
"She wasn't running after a seagull or a rabbit or anything like that. She just walked towards the edge and kept going."
Coastguard rescuers arranged for Honey to be taken to St Annes Veterinary Group in St Annes Road, Eastbourne.
She will take a course of anti-inflammatory drugs to ease swelling.
Mrs Forster said: "The Coastguard were brilliant. I would like to say a big thank you to them and everyone who helped."
